Strategic Safety Goals

The Department of Energy (DOE) Strategic Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) goals were developed by a cross-functional DOE working group that assessed other high reliability organizations to see how they structure their high level goals. The group leveraged these benchmark organizations and developed desired Strategic Outcomes (Strategic ESH Goals) - enduring measures that the Department will strive to keep at or near zero. These strategic outcomes are the public face of the EH program - high-level data normally seen in corporate annual reports.
