Technology Deployment Integration Center (TDIC)

HSS has partnered with the Nevada Test Site (NTS) to establish the Technology Deployment Integration Center (TDIC). The TDIC is an environment whereby security technologies are being demonstrated, evaluated for performance effectiveness, safety, interoperability with existing systems and protective force tactics, system reliability, operations and maintenance costs, and training effectiveness. It provides a venue for identifying and addressing problem areas in a cost effective manner prior to full scale deployment.

The TDIC brings together end users, technicians, facility managers, safety personnel, vulnerability assessment personnel, the national laboratories, and vendors to create a unified effort for streamlining deployment of these technologies in a methodical and expeditious means. The technologies in various stages of deployment provide an integrated network of detection, assessment, response, neutralization, and training capabilities.
