As part of the inspection process, the Office of
Independent Oversight requires the administration
of a security questionnaire before an inspection is
performed on a site's Safeguards and Security Awareness
Program (SSAP). For the Headquarters inspection, this
questionnaire will be executed by randomly selected
employees from June 2, through June 6, 2008.
Headquarters federal and contractor employees possessing
either a "Q" or "L" security badge will be randomly
selected to participate in taking this questionnaire.
The questionnaire consists of 25 questions that are
a combination of multiple choice and True/False questions
on basic Headquarters processes and procedures. It
will be available on a URL that will be easily accessible
from anywhere and will take approximately ten minutes
to complete. There is no pass/fail grading and it
has no personal impact on selected employees. The
results of the questionnaire are utilized only as
a tool to help determine where there are strengths
and weaknesses in the knowledge of HQ security processes/procedures
and what topics should be addressed in future Headquarters
security awareness activities.
Employees will be notified by e-mail if they are
selected and all instructions will be included in
the e-mail. If you have any questions concerning this
HSO SPOTLIGHT, please call/e-mail Brenda Swiger (301) 903-4440.
